Each year, music festival fanatics wait in anticipation for the release of the beloved Coachella lineup. While the music is the main focus of the event, we’d be lying if we said we didn’t look forward to the fashion just as much. There is nobody more equipped to talk all things festival fashion than our very own Mika Legaspi, a 5-year veteran of Coachella. This week, she shares her incredible outfits from her three day hiatus in Indio, California!
Day One Look:
[Mika]: My day one look is one of my favorites because I love how colorful, yet simple it is. This custom dress from rheabfunky was quite literally made to perfection, as it was a flawless match to the Louis Vuitton scarf I already owned. I matched my pink and yellow Lazy Oaf socks to bring out the pink and yellow in the dress and scarf, and threw on some simple YRU platforms to tie it all together. It’s all in the details with this look!
Scarf: Louis Vuitton
Socks: Lazy Oaf
Day Two Look:
[Mika]: If you know me, you know I am the biggest advocate for holographic anything! As soon as I saw this holographic dress online, I knew I had to have it. This custom dress from rheabfunky matched perfectly with my holographic platforms from Demonia, and together, they made an outfit that could not better depict my personality or style. I topped the whole look off with a purple bucket hat from Depop to add a pop of color and break up what was, otherwise, an entirely metallic outfit.
Bucket Hat: Depop
Day Three Look:
[Mika]: Coachella is the time to get out of your comfort zone and branch out more than you ever normally would. I decided to get as far out of my comfort zone as possible by opting for a look that channeled my inner cowgirl, (yeehaw)! As someone who does not enjoy country music, this is not something I would typically gravitate toward, but it was so fun to put together and wear. I knew I wanted to include Kami’s pink cowgirl hat in a Coachella look as soon as I saw it, so I built the entire outfit around this one piece. I made sure to keep my own personal flair by including the pink Christian Dior print top to match the hat. I left the rest of the outfit fairly simple by pairing it with plain white bottoms and a pink tassel belt to tie the whole ensemble together.
